Transportation Services Parking Capital Improvements – Proposed for Summer 2017

Parking Capital Improvements – Proposed for Summer 2017

In addition to these proposed zone changes, WSU Transportation Services is planning parking improvements this Summer 2017 in three locations shown here.

  1. Project #1 shown on the map will involve renewal of three gravel parking lots in the southwest part of campus.
  2. Project #2 shown on the map adds new paved parking adjacent to the Grimes Way Playfield.
  3. Project #3 shown on the map adds a new gravel parking lot on the site of the Cattle Feeding Lab in the east campus.

The three projects will add an approximate total of 100 parking spaces to the inventory at a cost estimate of $1 million.

Transportation Services continues to work with University Parking and Transportation Task Force and Facilities Services to develop plans and identify locations for adding potential parking inventory to the system.

WSU Transportation Services is a self-supported auxiliary.  As such, it does not receive funding from the State.  All operations, maintenance and capital funds are generated from parking fees and fines.
