General and Summer University RV Parking Rules and Regulations
General RV parking includes: Home Basketball Games, Home Baseball Games, Spring Family Weekend, etc. Overnight parking is available for those Recreational Vehicles (RVs) that are fully self-contained. There are no hookups available. The designated RV parking area for these events (except Spring Family Weekend) is Region 5. For Spring Family Weekend and Commencement RV lot locations and pricing please click on the corresponding event drop-down below.
ALL RV LOCATIONS ARE RESERVED FOR PERMITTED RVs ONLY. ANY RV WITHOUT A VALID RV PERMIT WILL BE ISSUED A PARKING VIOLATION. Note: During certain events when RVs are allowed on campus, RV lots are shared used with WSU zone permit holders.
Summer RV Parking includes: The time frame between when the WSU spring semester ends and when the fall semester begins.

General University RV Parking:
- General university RV parking is available in Region 5 only.
- The cost is $50 per day for Fridays and Saturdays only.
- Any additional days will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of WSU Transportation Services.
- Due to a much higher demand and staffing requirements, the Spring Family Weekend RV Permit pricing structure is different. Please see the “Family Weekend RV Lot Location and Pricing” drop-down below for more details.
- Payment and permit issuance may be available on-site on a space-available basis. Please contact WSU Transportation Services prior to parking on campus to see if this is an option.
- RV areas are not staffed.
- RV parking permits must be printed and visibly displayed upon parking on the WSU Pullman campus.
- Failure to display an RV parking permit may result in a parking violation.
- These permits are non-refundable.
summer rv parking:
- RV parking during the summer is available in Region 5 only.
- The cost is $50 per day for Fridays and Saturdays only.

- You must contact WSU Transportation Services to purchase a permit.
- Payment and permit issuance may be available on-site on a space-available basis. Please contact WSU Transportation Services prior to parking on campus to see if this is an option.
- This RV area is not staffed continuously, but an employee will make rounds in order to collect payment and/or check-in permits.
- These permits are non-refundable.
University RV Parking Rules:
- RVs are welcome to check into their respective RV lots NO SOONER THAN 6 pm on the Friday before the event. Any RVs in the lot before 6 pm on Friday will be required to move and may be cited for lack of compliance.
- Please refer to the RV length restrictions for the lot you wish to purchase a permit for. Important: This length measurement is from “Hitch to Spare”.
- TOW AND EXTRA VEHICLES: Tow/Extra Vehicles will be initially allowed into the RV lot for set-up purposes. After set up, the vehicle must be moved to the designated Tow/Extra Vehicle lot, if applicable. After set up, Tow/Extra Vehicle passes will also allow access to the RV lot to drop off items for a maximum of 15 minutes. Note: Tow vehicle access may be denied at any time if the police or a WSU Transportation Services employee determines it is unsafe or is being abused.
- The license plate of the Tow/Extra Vehicle will be recorded on the Tow/Extra Vehicle Pass and may only be used on one vehicle for that weekend.
- An Extra Vehicle that is pulled by, or accompanies, an RV at the time the RV enters the RV parking areas will be charged an additional fee.
- Parking across numerous RV spaces is not allowed. RVs must pull into or back into all spaces and stay within the painted lines of the RV space.
- Awnings may be utilized at no additional charge as long as it is within the RV parking space. No other parking spots may be used for tents, build-outs or cooking areas.
- RVs must be self-contained. No hookups or dumping stations are available in these lots.
- Visitor parking is not provided in the RV parking areas.
- Quiet hours in these lots occur between 10 pm and 7 am. City of Pullman ordinance, 8.80.020.
- Alcohol consumption or open containers in public is prohibited. City of Pullman ordinance, 5.55.010.
- All those in non-compliance with these rules will be required to move and may be cited for lack of compliance where applicable.
- Permits are required AT ALL TIMES. Spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis within the respective pre-purchased zone.
- Blackout dates include the week of Mom’s Weekend, Commencement, and the Spring Football Game. RV permits for these events will be sold with separate terms and conditions. The daily pricing structure does not apply during these blackout dates.
