Transportation Services Online Permit Sales

Important Parking Permit Renewal/Sales Information

Washington State University Transportation Services will offer annual campus parking permit renewals for current annual (non-Residence Hall) permit holders for 2019-20 on the web, April 16 – May 15, 2019 beginning at 10am.

If you do not already have an annual permit, please see Phase 2 of PERMIT RENEWAL/PURCHASE PHASES below.

NOTE: If you currently live, or will live in a Residence Hall in fall 2019, you are not eligible to renew your permit. Please see RESIDENCE HALL PERMIT SALES PHASES below.

WSU Transportation Services will be fully implementing License Plate Recognition (LPR) in August 2019. LPR will integrate “pay-by-plate” and License Plate Recognition technology that connects parking permit permissions to individual vehicle license plates, making your license plate your virtual permit. In most cases, there will no longer be a need to display a physical permit on your windshield.

Parking patrons will still renew and/or purchase permits online. Like last year, it will be very important to make sure your vehicle information is up to date and correct in your parking account before renewals (April 16, 2019), and/or open permit sales (August 6, 2019) begin.

Please note, if you have a University Apartment permit, you must come into our office to update your vehicle information, as you must show your vehicle registration to do so.To review and/or update vehicle information on your parking account:

  • Go to
  • Click “Login” in the top right hand corner.
  • Log in with your WSU network ID and password.
  • Click on “Permits” on the left hand side.
  • Click on your current permit
  • Review your Associated Vehicles.
    • From here you can make changes to the vehicles already associated to your permit(s) and/or add a new vehicle to your permit.

NOTE: The process described above is for updating vehicle information only. This will NOT renew your permit, you will still need to go online during the renewal period to renew your permit.

If you have questions or issues regarding updating your vehicle information, please contact Transportation Services by email at, by phone at 509-335-PARK (7275), or by coming into the office in person.

All account ticket balances must be paid in full before a permit can be renewed or purchased. Account ticket balances can be paid online by logging into your parking account.
